Transport
Pouillon is ideally located 45 minutes from Biarritz, Pau and Lourdes airports, and approximately 2 hours from Bordeaux and Bilbao.
Flights
RyanAir (from Stansted, Bristol, Birmingham, Dublin and Shannon) services Biarritz or Lourdes airports. These are our preferred pickup points.
British Airways (from Gatwick) services Bordeaux.
EasyJet have now started operations into Biarritz from London Gatwick in the Summer. EasyJet also flies to Toulouse and Bilbao from Stansted.
There are now flights with CITYJET into Pau from London City airport. It is worth having a look at these as they are very generous with their luggage allowances!
Train
The Eurostar leaves from Waterloo and takes around 9 hours to reach Dax train station (with 1 change in Paris – Eurostar arrives at Gard du Nord, the TGV leaves from Montparnasse). Return tickets start at around £115 and you can either travel overnight in a sleeper carriage or by day.
Pickup
We will meet at your arrival point and return you there at the end of your holiday.
Your quote will be based upon a pickup from Biarritz or Pau airports. We prefer to pick up from these destinations as it is less time in the Land Rover.
Please note that pickups from Bordeaux or Bilbao can be arranged but there is a surcharge of €125 each way and that you will be in the Land Rover for just over 2 hours each way. It is a €150 surcharge each way to Toulouse.
Transport whilst in France
We will provide all the transport that you require whilst in France. We will take you wherever the activities you have chosen are, transport you to and from local restaurants and other nightlife and pick you up at the end of the night. For local exploration we provide each person in your party with a mountain bike.
Should you wish to split up or explore further afield we can arrange local car hire for you.
